Every Detroit Lion You Can Meet at RazMania

Four are confirmed, more are being added, and here’s the part nobody tells you: you can buy all of their cards for less than the price of the autograph.

RazMania runs August 29–30 at the UWM Sports Complex in Pontiac. Four current Detroit Lions are on the guest list for the weekend, with additional players being announced as they confirm.

We track every public trading card sale over $500 — 21,691 of them in the current window. Here’s who’s coming, and what their market actually looks like.

Jack Fox — P, #3

Seventh NFL season. Rice.

The card market: zero tracked sales over $500 in the window.

What that means for you: punter cards are one of the great bargains in the hobby, and the good ones exist. Fox has been in the league since 2019 and has the cards to prove it. You will not spend real money owning one.

Jake Bates — K, #39

Third NFL season. Arkansas.

The card market: zero tracked sales over $500 in the window.

What that means for you: Bates is early enough in his career that his rookie-year cardboard is still cheap and still in circulation. Kickers who stick get remembered. This is the kind of signature that costs almost nothing now and is fun to own in ten years.

Brock Wright — TE, #89

Sixth NFL season. Notre Dame.

The card market: zero tracked sales over $500 in the window.

What that means for you: Wright went undrafted out of Notre Dame and has built a career anyway. His Notre Dame-era and early Lions cards are the target — cheap, findable, and a better story than a base card of someone famous.

Hogan Hatten — LS, #49

Third NFL season. Idaho.

The card market: zero tracked sales over $500 in the window.

What that means for you: long snapper cards barely exist, which is exactly why collectors chase them. If you find a Hatten card on the floor, buy it. There will not be a second one.

The actual point

Across the whole Football category we tracked 1,474 sales over $500 last week, 868 of them with a confirmed paid price, at a median of $811.

Not one of the four Lions coming to RazMania appears in that data at all.

That is not a knock — it is the opportunity. The high end of this hobby has priced most people out of meeting anybody. A weekend where you can walk in with a $5 card, stand across a table from the man on the front of it is a fundamentally different proposition from bidding against strangers at 2am.

Bring the cheap card. That’s the whole play.
