Why it matters

This is the card a lot of people bought as their first expensive modern Pokemon card, and it is drifting down while most of the board is drifting up. If you own one, nothing dramatic has happened. If you have been waiting to buy, the entry price is meaningfully below where it sat in the spring.

This card is also not rare in any meaningful sense: it is a chase card from a heavily printed Sword and Shield era set, and there is no supply story underneath it.
