Nike Jumpman Jordans Top Tuesday’s $13,410 Card Day

A PSA 7 1985 Nike Jumpman Jordan sold for $2,349.23 on Tuesday, the highest of 16 qualifying single-card sales.
Two 1985 Nike Jumpman Michael Jordan cards led Tuesday’s completed eBay sales: a PSA 7 at $2,349.23 and a PSA 6 at $1,899.23. Across 16 qualifying single-card Jordan sales, the day totaled $13,410.33.
Why it matters
Nike’s 1985 Jumpman issue is trading as a four-figure card in mid grade. The PSA 7 at $2,349.23 outsold both 2021 Jersey Fusion game-used tag 1/1s, which went for $1,999.99 each — a 1985 Nike card beating modern one-of-ones on the same day.
By the numbers
- $2,349.23 — Tuesday’s highest qualifying single-card sale, a PSA 7 1985 Nike Jumpman.
- $449.98 — the median across all 16 qualifying Jordan single-card sales that day.
- $495.00 — the trailing-90-day median across 149 qualifying sales, so Tuesday sat close to the running market.
Zoom in
The PSA 6 copy at $1,899.23 was the day’s most notable sale on our scoring, not its most expensive. Its listing title stacks “HOF ROOKIE CARD” onto a 1985 Nike issue. PSA 6 and PSA 7 are grades on the cards themselves — neither Nike copy is signed, so no autograph grade is in play.
Reality check
The seller’s “rookie card” label is doing work. Jordan’s recognized rookie is the 1986 Fleer #57, and 1985 is pre-junk-wax rather than vintage — vintage means pre-1980. Two sales of one issue in one day is also not a trend, and our comparable-sales pull returned too few matching sales to quote a median honestly, so there is no multiple to attach to either price.
What's next
Watch whether 1985 Nike Jumpman copies keep clearing four figures at PSA 6 and PSA 7. If you’re holding one raw, those are the two grades that printed real prices Tuesday, and they are what a raw copy gets comped against.
How we track this
RazMania monitors completed eBay sales daily, filtering out multi-card lots, reprints, and cross-listed items to isolate genuine single-card sales. Prices are final sold prices. Comparable-sale medians are calculated from 149 verified sales over the trailing 90 days. eBay reports sold date, not sold time.
